I had a good evening tonight. Tabitha and I went out. We ran some errands, then went to Target and Dollar Tree. Then we went to Applebee's for dinner, then saw When in Rome at the 2.50 movie theater. Then we went to Walmart. We were going to go to Barnes and Noble's after Walmart, but as Tabby pulled out of the Dorman Centre she got pulled over and got a ticket.
We're not exactly sure why. The cop said something that made sense to her, but Tabitha didn't really understand it (but wasn't going to argue with the cop) and I hadn't really been paying any attention, so I couldn't really be a witness.
That kind of put a damper on an otherwise fun evening, so when we got to my house to drop me off I suggested she put in one of the CDs she bought at dollar tree, figuring we could have fun listening to a few tracks and end the evening with a smile...
Well, the next thing you know, she and I are laughing HYSTERICALLY as we dance in our seats in the car singing "Watermelon Crawl" and "Chattahootchie" on the top of our lungs! Then, the windows actually fogged up, which just made us laugh more! We had a party in her car for about an hour! It was great.
Some pleasures in life are just simple and happy. Thank you, God, for friends!!!
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
