Don't forget to link up below. Basically, fellow bloggers, blog in any way you see fit about any of the Psalms 1-14, and then link up. Easy!
Today, I am praying Psalm 14... mainly like reading and responding, actually. Something slightly different from what I've done.
The fool has said in his heart,
“There is no God.”
God, I know I can be foolish, and I am no better than Peter:
Maybe I'll deny you...
But please, Lord, if I do, reconcile me to yourself
As you did with Peter
And make me all the more on fire for you. They are corrupt,
They have done abominable works,
There is none who does good.
Yes, Lord, I know there is nothing good done except by You
So work through me
Let me be Your vessel
I can do no good apart from You
You have made a dwelling place in me
Help me to surrender and rejoice!
The LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men,
To see if there are any who understand, who seek God.
Lord, I seek you! They have all turned aside,
They have together become corrupt;
There is none who does good,
No, not one.
I know this is true, this is why you came to die for us.
You have reconciled us to you.
Lord, protect my brethren and I
do not let us be snatched from your hand
or turn aside
Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge,
Who eat up my people as they eat bread,
And do not call on the LORD?
Lord, I call upon you.
Help me to love your people as myself
I could never do this without you
Help me help them
and gain knowledge of you
through access to the mind of Christ
what a miraculous reality! There they are in great fear,
For God is with the generation of the righteous.
Help me to fear You
And you alone
For fearing You is the beginning of wisdomYou shame the counsel of the poor,
But the LORD is his refuge.
Lord, I am poor
I am needy
I run into You
Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion!
When the LORD brings back the captivity of His people,
Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.
Oh, Your salvation has come out of Zion!
You sent Yourself to us!
You died for us!
You reconciled us to Yourself!
Let us go forth, and live,
Let us be Your Body, Your Bride
Indeed, we are!
Amen! Link up below.
