The Earth is the Lord's

That's the lovely first line of Psalm 24:

The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein.
For He has founded it upon the seas,
And established it upon the waters.

Isn't that lovely? I feel secure knowing that the earth belongs to God, every bit of it. I trust my God, I love Him dearly.  I still struggle with knowing He loves me as much as He does, as much as He alone can.
Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD?
Or who may stand in His holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,
         Nor sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive blessing from the LORD,
And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him,
         Who seek Your face.  Selah

Thank you, my Father, for Jesus. Thank you that He could ascend into your hill, and that he's grabbed my hand and heart and pulled me into union with Him.  Thank you that my sins have been washed away. Thank you that you continue to rescue me, daily.  I'm sorry for how awful I can be.  Never give up on me.
Lift up your heads, O you gates!
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.

"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me."  Revelation 3:20

Who is this King of glory?
         The LORD strong and mighty,
         The LORD mighty in battle.

"I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS."  Revelation 19:11-16

Lift up your heads, O you gates!
         Lift up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory?
         The LORD of hosts,
He is the King of glory.  Selah
