Turning to My Beloved in Prayer

Today, Psalm 25 is definitely my prayer. So, Beloved, I am praying to You. Adoring you.

I life my soul up to you, Lord. I trust in You, you are my sole Hope.  Let me not be ashamed, Let not our enemies (for we are One in covenant and Truth) triumph over me. Yes, God, let none of us who wait on You be ashamed. (You are our deliverer!) Waiting on You is never something shameful; there is a lot of shameful things out there.

Show me Your ways, Beloved, Teach me Your paths, my God! (Forgive me when I am slow to learn; pick me up when I stumble.) Lead me in Your Truth and TEACH ME! (I know you alone are the One True Teacher!)  Yes! You are the God of my salvation! On You I wait! All day I'll wait! (Preserve me from distractions that harm me.)

Help me to remember, Beloved, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindness (too numerous for my mere mind to comprehend; yet in me I have the mind of Christ) They are ancient, you have such a history of mery and love! Do not remember the sins of my youth, or my transgressions, but instead look on me with mercy. Remember me with love. Do this because You are good, and How you are GOOD! Oh, my Beloved!

Beloved, you are so good and righteous! Therefore you have decided to be the Teacher of sinners, and guide us in the Way.  You guide the humble to learn justice and righteousness, you teach them Your Way. (Help my heart stay humble, dear Beloved!) All Your paths are mercy and Truth for those of us in covenant with You, who proclaim Your Name and Truth.  For Your Name's sake, Beloved, pardon my iniquity, for it is huge.

Who is the one who fears God? That one, You teach in the You choose, Beloved. You let her live in the prosperity of having You as her Treasure, and her Family (Your Family!) shall inherit the earth! (Bless those I love! Lead them to Yourself!) You give to those who fear You Your secrets, Your mysteries, Your revealed thoughts, and You show them Your covenant. Help my eyes be ever toward You, Beloved, and pluck my feet out of the net of the enemy.

Turn towards me, Great Beloved! Have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted.  My troubles distress me; be my sweet deliverer! Look on my affliction and pain, and forgive my sins.  Consider our many enemies, who hate me with cruel hatred.  Keep my soul and deliver me, let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You and You alone.  (Correct me, Sweet Spirit, if I do otherwise!) Let me be preserved according to Your integrity and uprightness for I wait for You.

Redeem Your People, Beloved, out of their troubles!

I love You. I trust You. I await You.
