Yarn Along

Okay, so I haven't been linking up with Yarn Along the past few weeks. Mainly it's because I haven't been able to get up early on Wednesday mornings (it goes live 6am here) but also because I havent' really made much progress with my vest. So I told myself I might as well wait to post until I finished my vest... but I decided to break that rule. I like you guys and I want to link up even if my yarn project is unfinished.

My other project, the baby blankets, I need to get yarn for the borders. I want to do pink yarn for one and lavender or lilac for the other I think (twin girls). Hopefully I don't need to be in a hurry to complete this: my friend is only 24 weeks, but she's had contractions and had to go to the hospital this weekend. They were able to send her home, and she's on bed rest. Please pray, it's wayyy too early for them to come!

As far as books go, I am only currently reading two books! (not including the Bible) Shocker, I know, I usually have like four to six books going at once. I have one non-fiction, As Silver Refined by Kay Arthur, which is about dealing with life's disappointments, and one fiction: Code Triage by Candace Calvert. I'm not reviewing Code Triage, I'm actually just reading it for fun! Shocking! (Not that the books I review aren't fun!)

Speaking of reviews, Tyndale is supposed to give me a date to review As One Devil to Another but they haven't yet. It's modern day version of the Screwtape Letters, and I have a copy to giveaway! But they said I need to publish my review on a day they assign and it'd be sometime in April or May... so check back if you're interested!
