In other wedding news... I don't really have any... but in "moving to India" news there's this: I should be applying for my visa by the end of the month! That's big! It's estimated to take six weeks, so... exciting!
That's all the tangible news I have, but as for the intangible I feel my 'saying goodbye to home' emotions have progressed. I can't say exactly how, but I am joyful and peaceful about it. It smacks of rightness. I know this is God's plan for me and I'm reminded of:
"That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh." Genesis 2:24
“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.” Mark 10:29-31
I am so blessed by God to have Ryan. I love him more and more, and my respect for him has grown throughout recent events.
