Shortly after her twins were born, my friend Tabitha showed me this link and asked me if I could make those little baby sandals for her.
I finally got around to it. Of course, I never follow patterns, so I didn't make mine the same way at all. I started at the end of the ties, not at the toes.
Sorry it's a little fuzzy, best focused photo I got |
As for books, my Sunday afternoon Bible Study is working through No Other God by Kelly Minter. I finished Would You... Read Me to Sleep? which is a children's book I'll be reviewing tomorrow. I'm nearly done with Unstuck. I'm in the first few chapters of Understanding Theology in 15 Minutes a Day.
And I'm working through Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series. I've read the 14 (I think?) books in the series so far (not the last one... it's either coming out soon or didn't come out all that long ago... we don't have it.) I am re-reading them in hopes I will get them done before I move to India, as they are my father's books and I'm not taking them with me. I started like two weeks ago, and I'm halfway through book three (each book is about 700 pages). So I have 11 1/2 long books to read before the end of November... in addition to the 6 books I have in the queu to read to review?
Yeah, I'm crazy. But when I say I am an avid reader, I am understating it. So while I won't say I am confident I can do it, I'm pretty sure it's at least possible!
Linking up with Tami and Kristine as well as Ginny (yarn along button below.)

Awe. Those will be adorable. I love knitting little baby projects. They're so satisfying.
ReplyDeleteSuch cute little sandals. I wonder whether the babies will leave them on and grab at them with little hands?
