Book Review: Would You Read Me to Sleep?

Would You Read Me to Sleep? is a cute picture book. It has a deep theme of familial love, the gospel and eternal life. I am uncertain however if children would be riveted by the subtle, yet deep themes.

The book chronicles the life of a little girl who likes when her daddy reads a certain book to her with wonderful stories. Then she grows older, and so does her father. It ends with her reading her father to his eternal sleep. The certain book is the Bible.

It is really quite touching and you can not only respond to the story, but see the love that was poured into the making of the book by the author and illustrator. I would recommend checking this book out, but again, I am just uncertain at how riveted children may be by the subtle storyline... that said, some kids may love it!

I do recommend this book.

I received this book free from the Book Crash program in exchange for my fair and unbiased review.
