Of yarn and such, I only brought one skein, to make a scarf for my future father-in-law. And I brought one crochet hook. I worked on it on the flight, but haven't much since because I've been busy. But now I'll get back on it because I want to finish it by Christmas (he doesn't read my blog but others who know him do, so don't tell him.) It's exceedingly basic, but in that classic.
I haven't seen a place to buy yarn yet, BUT I did sit upright in the car the other day when I saw a man on his bicycle with a giant load of yarn behind him. They use bicycles as transport here, and I've seen lumber, vegetables, etc. That one was headed for a yarn shop, so now I need to track it down.
As for books, I've been devouring several on my Nook. I just finished a Janette Oak one. I need to sit down and catch up on my book reviews, which I'll be doing asap.
Hope all of you are doing well!
