Ryan and I the day after I arrived in India |
I am thankful that 6 months ago this week I got married to the man God intended for me.
I am thankful that we have this lovely apartment.
I am thankful that I finally discoved the name of this sleeping disorder I've been living with all my life.
I am thankful that I can make "chai tea" everyday. (Chai actually means tea in India. But yes, I get to make homemade masala-ed up milk tea every day if I want!)
I am thankful I had no idea cardamom was expensive until I was telling my mom I put three pods into our tea (to make four cups) and she was freaking out on me that cardamom is $14 an ounce in America.
I am thankful that I have a loving, caring husband who tries to make me laugh even when he thinks I'm crazy...

... thankful that today when I was putting on my snood my darling husband stopped and said, "You're just so beautiful."
I'm thankful for my mp3 player and librivox.
I'm thankful for my mom.
I'm thankful for facebook. Thank you, thank you God for facebook, through which I can keep in touch with pretty much everyone.
I'm thankful for answers and problems and solutions.
I'm thankful for exciting new possiblities.
I'm thankful for continuing joy at being a blogger.
What are you thankful for?

All wonderful things to be thankful for!! (and I always stock up on cheap spices in bulk when I'm on that side of the world!)
ReplyDelete@ Rachel- Yes, that's pretty much exactly what my mom said. She said "If you ever move back to America, you'd better stock up on cardamom then!"
