I am going to leave off Jesus because of course, He's the biggest but He's on a whole different level.
Let's see... my mother. I am a lot like Mom. We're both creative, scatterbrained types with a peculiar sense of humor. I remember people not taking me seriously in high school and being deemed "immature"... well of course, I was a teenager and I sure was fairly immature but I felt it an unfair accusation in that it was usually launched at me because I have a silly side.
Then one day I was in the grocery store and my mom suddenly took a small one and jumped on to the back of a shopping cart and rode it down the aisle. I laughed and realized I wasn't immature; I was just like my mom!
My dear friend Lydia: she really opened my eyes to Jesus and so many things. She intrigues my mind and my heart and has made me think so much and so deeply. A lot of times and conversations have resonated far past their happenings.
Ryan. When you marry someone, you become one. Both at that moment and also in the process that continues as long as you both shall live. It's a living picture of the union of Christ and Church: we are both truly one with Him and yet also becoming one with Him in an ongoing process. Nothing can be more influential than that, so of course Ryan is on this list, as we learn and adapt and mingle together, solidifying our oneness in the process of marriage.
