My "yarn along" is that I repaired my snood. Let me be clear: I did not make this from scratch. I bought it at a Renaissance fair years ago. It broke like two years ago though and has been sitting in a drawer. I tried to make my own from scratch but failed. So I finally decided I'd fix it. Here's the result!
Then I had another crafty project: I sewed myself an infinity veil!
Now I totally didn't come up with the concept, I saw them on this site, so if you don't want to make your own but like the look you can get one there. But I have a lot of lace and thought, hmm, I could make that. So I did!
Here it is by itself:
Here it is worn with a lace headband (it stays in place better this way.)
Reading wise lately I've been working on One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp on the e-reader and I've been working through a Bible Study on Romans here and there as well. And of course the umpteenth million little kid books Genevieve has me read to her.
