I was looking up ideas for celebrating Advent with preschoolers and found the idea of a simple paperchain. Perfect! I wrote on each link a Bible verse and a song. So each day Dreamer would remove one link, we'd sing the song and say the verse. On Sundays we combined it with lighting our Advent candles. It went so well, I'm definitely doing the same next year! I felt very sure Dreamer understood that it was about Jesus, you know?
The week prior to Christmas I kept my eyes open to free to the public Christmas carnivals and we were able to visit bouncy houses, get a horse driven sleigh ride and met Santa and other characters!
We had a great Christmas as well. Christmas morning we woke up early, opened presents from us and my side of the family, then called America. Then we went to a service, after which we went to Ryan's parents for Christmas lunch and for the kids to open gifts from their Yaya and Dada. Dreamer got lots of Barbies, dress up clothes, and craft supplies. Rider got mainly clothes and books.

The day after Christmas we went to the zoo, which was fun. We keep saying we'll take the kids for years but it was our first visit to the Delhi zoo.
Merry Christmas and God bless you all!
